I've Been Obsessively Illuminating My Grimoire Like An Ancient Text

College has made me into a total weirdo when it comes to book presentation so it's really hard to journal or write in my planner or literally physically write anything without making attempts to jazz it up with decorations up the wazoo. 

Lately, I've been working on this special grimoire since my magical practice has taken a bit of a turn in a new direction, and I've literally been illuminating it like those ancient bibles you see in documentaries all the time. It's been a great outlet for stress relief and a ton of fun! I wondered if I lacked the patience for it at first cause I struggled to know where I wanted to put things, but now I just cram a bunch of crud into literally any available space.

Using metallic gel pens makes it look ESPECIALLY fancy and ostentatious and I LOVE it. It's so flashy and extra. I dunno. I feel like it really goes well with the actual contents seeing as it is a sort of personal religious text. 

I don't really have much of a point in sharing this. I've just been very excited about it and I wanted to share with someone.
