things i like to do.. cheesy shit

i actually danced at a studio for 12 years but recently stopped because it wasnt for me anymore. i never did any competitions, it was always for fun. so i think that at my age if i wasnt on the team there wasnt a point for me to continue, plus other things got in the way.. but currently i really really like to learn kpop dances! ive been a kpop fan since 2017 and have been learning dances since then actually, my first one was russian roulette by red velvet. i also just like to dance for fun, at parties. not that i go to huge parties or anything like that but i like to have a fun time with friends or family. (not to ring my own bell but.. as ke$ha once said "the party dont start till i walk in..)

-singing 

ive been singing since before i can remember (isnt that what all singers say.. kinda lame soph). i would get on our fireplace and sing along with american idol playing on the tv as a small kid (they all say that! it is true tho) and i did theater for a while. though i never stopped singing, i stopped thinking i was good for a long while. i stopped doing theater because of the pandemic, failed some auditions, and began to think less of myself. but i would like to think i have my confidence back! now i sing a lot more and im singing in front of a crowd for the first time in a long time soon, i would be lying if i said im not scared. but i never used to have stage fright.. one time i sang "santa tell me" by ariana grande in front of my whole middle school which was. um. a choice indeed! anyways. wish me luck

where do i even start.. idk i feel like when people say they "like music a lot" there's a certain sound that you associate with that. do you know what i mean? but man i just really like kpop and pop punk/emo.. i have airpods in constantly and my huge playlist is over 80 hours. it just really brings me joy and i love listening to music that is new to me (send me some.. anything honestly.. we can exchange recs hehe). i dont judge people's music taste (USUALLY LMAO) because i know what its like for people to think what you like is "weird".. but honestly give it a try. its not that deep bro give me your face so i can stick some earbuds in your ears and play some kpop. sounding like a nerd but it is a very diverse genre and youll find something you like

ok bonus thing about music, i play two instruments (viola and piano). ive been playing viola for 6 years and piano for nearly 2 (or 3. i cant figure it out. help). i never really had that intense of a drive to practice and get better, therefore i just thought i sucked.. but i sucked it up and now i think im improving which genuinely is making me really happy :) (p.s ask me to play you the your lie in april opening or some minecraft music. its all i know) (p.p.s im gonna learn guitar soon methinks)

holy shit full corny cheesy bullshit time but oh my god these girls who do not know i exist have made such a positive impact in my life for the past 4ish years.. loona and twice specifically just bring me so much joy and happiness idk how to describe it. i love the music they put out and i love the members, i love their choreo and their music videos and their lore, i love everything. i hope to see both groups in concert one day, and i will die a happy man
