Graveyards

Names written in sidewalk concrete
Make for fine headstones
The Earth is flooded with phantoms
No one cares for them
My home was never just my own

Once used by others

Even down to it's foundation
And even further

Lie the remnants of now lost folk

Their bodies nourish

plants eaten by animal

animals eaten by man

man eaten by earth

earth eaten by plants

plants eaten by animal

forever

I am here because of this fact

Or perhaps in spite

The Earth is covered with graveyards
