Does it matter if we are real or not?

I'm okay with the possibility that nothing is real. People always worry that ''everything is a simulation'' and every moment we live is a lie. No one knows if this is true. It's a mystery that humanity has pondered for as long as we had the intelligence to do so. Even if it was true, that nothing actually existed and the world as we know it is a false reality, what's so bad about that? we may not be real at all, but right now we are. this moment is real. the memories are real and that's all that matters right now. If some god or higher being told me I wasn't real, I'd be okay with that.
