i almost just cried in the nancy carol roberts library

long story short, i sent my first ever wire transfer to the institution i am studying abroad with in the autumn nearly a month ago, all of it upfront. big amount. and there was no indication as per if they received the payment or not. after a couple weeks, i emailed their accounting team to no response. a couple weeks later, tried again, still no. a few days ago, i finally sent the admissions team an email (via forwarding the ones to accounting) and they got me sorted and now it shows i have paid.


which is SUCH a relief. i was worried i fucked it up and that 10k would be down the drain in some random guy's bank account. i am in my town's library right now. about to attend online communications class, but had to be in town in the morning and again after class, so i figured i would save the gas money and just ask for one of those private rooms. so here i am, in the nancy carol roberts library, waiting for class to start, checking emails, and i almost cry cos i am not in fact an idiot.
