I actually went to school with Jesy Nelson.
She was a bully to one of my friends because she was an emo (and probably others too but I didn’t have any interaction with her). She was constantly picked on for her style. I know this is pretty standard for the early 2000’s but I guess you really do reap what you sew.
I have no idea why she attended school for the last two years (year 10 & 11) because I didn’t interact with her. She was popular and hung about with “the plastics”, apparently Mean Girls had an influence with naming cliques in my school. And what I thought was weird was that I only really knew her as being involved with dance, however my mum told me she used to perform at the local town show.
Am I surprised about the whole “Blackfishing”? NO. I think she loves the attention as she did in school. I’m in no way condoning cyber and social media bullying.
