Is gentoo worth it?

In my opinion gentoo sucks thats only because of the package manager portage.It compiles from source this means that you install source code and compile it so you dont get pre compiled binary packages like you will get from ubuntu or linux mint,monjaro etc

I had fun installing gentoo linux because of the experience it gives you.Basically gentoo is lfs but light version *meaning easier to install*
