I'm So Happy!!!!

(side note: best friend = boyfriend, fiancé/husband = partner of 2 years)

So, I just started a polyamorous relationship with my partner of two years and my best friend, and I'm so happy. I've been in love with my best friend since we met in middle school. I was tearing myself apart trying to choose who I wanted more, but I absolutely couldn't. So, I thought, "Hey, don't poly people exist?"

That being said-- my fiancé , my boyfriend, and I made a group chat where we talked about our expectations, our boundaries, and what we wanted out of this sort of relationship. We all agreed that as long as everyone is happy and safe, then I have the green light to date them both.

I'm so happy that this happened. They mean the world to me, and I love them so much!! Hopefully, I'll be able to see my boyfriend soon because I haven't been able to actually see and touch him in 2-3 years. My fiancé and I joked that they (fiancé) could go pick him up on the way to my house.

So, it turns out I did get to see my boyfriend! I had a blast, and I can't wait to see them again. I'm super positive that I'm gonna get the job I have an interview for, which means I'll be able to make the drive down to my boyfriend's house! Driving on the highways or just with a lot of people around is still spooky, but I'll be okay.
