BINDING SAFELY

many people who bind wear binders with a zip or hooks to hold the binder together. THESE ARE DANGEROUS AND SHOULD NOT BE USED!! i have been binding for over 2 years now, about to move onto my 4th binder (should be getting them more regularly but wasn't able to) and i have done research!! 

the reason these are dangerous is because if you can't pull it on over your head, IT'S TOO TIGHT FOR YOU!! all binding comes with dangers, but these ones don't do the job any better, and they will likely harm you! if you have the option, please order one that you pull over your head!! 

some of the risks of using a binder that you have to hook/zip up include: restricted breathing, damaged ribs (including bruising and sometimes even fractures!)
