i see soooo many emos that are in it just for the aesthetic and don't listen to any emo music! >_> if you want to get into emo stuffs i encourage you 2 listen to the music. i have a giant playlist of scene and emo music 4 anyone who wants to give it a listen, and it's constantly being updated :33
edit 3/5/23 this playlist is no longer being updated since i left spotify, but it still has good music (i think)
i also have individual playlists on my profile that are just scene nd emo ... for those who don't feel like listening to both :p
