If you've been watching the news... I am as shocked as you are by what is happening in the US. With that said, my attention will be focused elsewhere because we all need somewhere to escape to. So, let me tell you what I'm up to.
It's been a mostly productive morning of crocheting my pink and red Rexy and balling up yarn that is starting to look saggy. I have an idea of what to do with the tail and I haven't start it yet. I've also started CraftyKid's blue striped scarf, found out my cat (his name is Devlin and is a little shit) chewed mine off the ball that I was working on, and started an almost original sized Rexy.
I've opted for a more crazier color type of thing. It's still going to be red and pink but it's going to be different sized stripes and all on the limbs. I'm going to try and find my purple felt for Rexy's eyes because I think that'll bring attention to the eyes. I'm also thinking of adding hearts because it reminds of Valentine's Day.
The blue Rexy is just going to be a small Rexy for little hands to grab. Rexy is suppose to be small and adorable. When I made my Rexy the first time, it was small enough to fit in CraftyKid's hand. In fact, he is why I made Rexy in the first place. He was the Easter gift from me one year.
I am utterly tired but I've also managed to doodle up some new designs including the one I want to design. I'm going to jot it down and post it to Ravelry once finished. No, I don't have testers for any of this so if you find any errors, I'm open to hear about it. I do love feedback. Constructive ones, of course. I can't get better if you said "every thing fucking sucks".
