End of the world in Hinduism - comforting to me

In Hinduism, the cycle of humanity has 4 stages--Satya Yuga, Treta Yuga, Dvapara Yuga, and Kali Yuga. This list is in order from 'best' to 'worst', or more technically golden to dark. Being as Kali Yuga is the darkest of those ages, some may find it off-putting to mention. However, I truly enjoy learning about this age and what happens during it.

Kali Yuga:
  • Political leaders have formulated ways to show themselves as the most powerful, smartest, and most worthy, instead of actually being that.
  • People who are considered as 'important' only listen to their stomachs and genitals
  • Beauty will be seen as a haircut (people will not be seen in their rawest forms, hide behind a mask of wealth that can disguise your ugliness; to clarify: not a jab at any cool alt person)
  • People will be together due to superficial attraction rather than soul-to-soul
  • Law and justice will be influenced by power, and so will the judgement of a person. Nepotism, not by name, is also mentioned.
If you wanna learn more, you can:
At the very end of Kali Yuga, the last avatar of Vishnu, Kalki, will arrive on earth and slaughter corrupt people to the masses, of course their souls will get another chance during the next Satya Yuga. Those who have good dharma and are overall not corrupt will ascend into moksha, a state of indescribable peace for the soul.

This concept is so freeing to me bc humanity will be cleansed (very bad way of putting it 😟 but yk what i mean) and everything including humanity is a cycle we're in until us as individuals reach moksha, at our own steady pace and will.
