By god, do I hate Twitter. I only use the damn site for art and talking to people who have similar interests, but it’s just the most soul-sucking place on the planet. It’s full of such chronically online and unchecked evils that it’s genuinely baffling so many of these people are allowed. Nazis harbor there, as well as racists and pedophiles, and people will have the GALL to call you immature or a baby should you point these out.
I hate Twitter and it’s just become so much worse over these past few days. Social media is good, but only sometimes. A lot of the time, it destroys my mental health and makes me into such an angry person it kinda shocks me. I got tempbanned for saying that a person who posted literal CP on his account should die (because he should) but I’m the immature one? I jumped to no conclusions. If you repost and say you want to assault a six-year-old girl in a swimsuit, you deserve to die. That’s all there is to it. I don’t care what people think of that. They will moderate my language for that but won’t take down that account and people who use slurs just because they think it’s funny.
Twitter sucks. The internet sucks. This world sucks, but it’ll be okay maybe. Soon enough, something has to get better. We’ve hit rock bottom it feels like, so we can only go up from here.

I agree. Twitter is complete shit. I still use it mainly because I have a little hope with Elon and also I like to troll people on there (you can do so quite easily surprisingly)

:( If you can, I would honestly encourage you to spend as much time off of Twitter as possible. I truly think that site is beyond redemption. It's too huge to be moderated, which allows freaks and bigots to run rampant on it with no consequence.
Plus, it's intentionally designed to make the user feel as bad as possible. Its algorithm purposefully encourages doomscrolling and hopelessness. It's important to be in the know, but knowing every terrible thing that's happening every minute of every day is not "being in the know" - that's just torturing yourself. It makes people believe nothing can be done, even though this world still has a chance.
I hope you'll be alright ;_; I'm so sorry you saw what you did. That bullshit is inexcusable.
I'm better now. Right after that, I deleted Twitter and I don't think I'll be back on for a while. Thank you for your kind words; they mean a lot.
