Ok, bare with me, lets say you traveled to a different timeline/universe and..idk garfield. was a god in that timeline, like a real god, in the flesh. would you hypothetically be able to worship him once in your home timeline? Would it even work?

I think faith is something very personal and who you live your life worshipping is a very personal decision
Theological leap of faith requires you to believe that your God is worth worshipping so in this case I'd say go for it. All hail Garfield :-)
