I used to have cable, but all of these streaming services, HBOmax, paramount+, disney+, peacock, etc...They keep pulling entire channels and tv shows from television to isolate the content to their streaming service. I can't afford every single streaming service every month, so I have to play a fucking game of "figure out which streaming service is fighting for the rights of this movie/show this month" so i can figure out which one I need to switch to every month, just to be able to watch a single show or movie i want to watch at the time... So i'm saying fuck it and just going back to DVDs and pirating. You can get DVDs of new movies at walmart now as cheap as three bucks... Every time I want to watch something, I'll just buy a DVD of it so I can watch it whenever I want, however many times that I want.
I'm so sick of streaming services...

I remember when people used to say that streaming services, with the attraction of putting up old or cool new shows, will stamp out piracy. But seeing that everyone is now running their own service, it's no different from cable so yeah piracy ftw

Vudu is a really good online service! Its basically streaming, but you join for free and buy movies to stream on their app, and they have a bunch of shit for free with ads. I don't bother buying stuff other than what my dad put on there, but they regularly have sales n shit so you could theoretically price check anything you wanted on there
