Wax Roses

They're just as beautiful, delicate. Pretty little things that cannot be weathered or rot. And as eternal as they may seem, their true natural sits petty in the back of minds. Fake flowers can never be real flowers. They can't ruffle in the breeze of crisp wind and do not melt into grotesque plastic. So similar they are and yet one can never be as lustrous. Maybe the rotting is the real beauty. The real joy that none can compare.
