Introductions

MySpace was one of the very few social networking sites back in the day (Xanga, please come back in all of your gloriousness, I'm begging you), which means that I'm basically here for the nostalgia of it all. If friends are made along the way, cool, if not, oh well. With that being said, on to the basics.

My name is Nikki. Ever since I was 12/13, I've considered myself goth. If what you have/will see of me doesn't fit your standards of what goth should be, you can take your opinion and shove it. It's what I identify with, so it's what I am. I am definitely, 100% that nerd. Shy, awkward, and hardcore introverted. Cats are easier to deal with than other people are. If you happen to send me a message and there's no response, don't get your feelings hurt, it's just not easy for me to talk to people. I'm married and have been since 2018 (which obviously means if you're befriending/messaging to try to get somewhere on that front, buzz off). My husband means the world to me. My two big past times are reading and playing video games. Music and movies are more of a comfort blanket now than actual defining points of my life. Honestly, give me something to do indoors on any given day; I'm definitely not an outside type of girl. Even though I live in Texas where 95% of the year it's hot, Fall and Winter (especially Winter) are my favorite seasons. If you see me freaking out the last few months of the year, don't mind me, the holidays are huge things I look forward to. 

I feel like the interests section of my profile pretty much fills in what else there is to say. I'm kind of a boring person when you get down to the nitty gritty. If there's anything else you're dying to know, just ask. Don't be a dick. Be nice. Sarcasm I can take (and dish out). I'm always down to talk books, movies, video games, anything horror, anything nerdy. Friend requests are screened, I don't just add anybody. And keep it to 20+. Anything younger is extremely awkward territory due to age differences. Also, I'm not accepting private account friend requests.
