I dunno if i should be happy or guilty for crushing so hard

I'm head over heels for my online friend. He lives almost on the west coast and I'm here on the east coast. I haven't been this happy in years whenever I talk to him but I know I'm not going to take it well if he meets a girl he can actually meet. I'm an adult and I know I'm not supposed to care about a screen name but I guess I'm that much of a hopeless romantic. Hopefully I'm not a distraction to him, he acts fond of me but again, I can't be keeping him from being with a real woman.
