Spectrum tv order

So yesterday some Spectrum salesman came to our house asking if we want to get the spectrum cable service they claimed that somebody lived at our house and had spectrum when I saw the name and realize that nobody I knew one that lived with me had that last time or that first name I’ll quickly realized that this was shady but I went along with it which is something that I shouldn’t of done because I didn’t know this was gonna happen so they asked for information and then the next morning my father told me that there was an email saying that an order has been placed for Spectrum. We have DIRECTV so we don’t really need Internet and cable right now because we have AT&T for Internet as well but basically what happened is the salesman had tricked me to get the service by telling me that somebody had Spectrum and lived at our house then used our information to order Spectrum. What kind of a salesman does that? I’m pretty sure if you’re a salesman you wouldn’t do that to your customer either or the person who you’re trying to sell the service to. I read on some Reddit forums that Spectrum businessman have been doing this tactic whether they get some customers information and they use it to order streaming services such as HBO, Cinemax and all those other services. Thankfully though Spectrum as a whole is in a bad company. The representative understood the situation that we were in. The fact that we had no idea that there was a spectrum service ordered to our house and the fact that we already had a cable service and Internet with another company and that we did not want to have the service installed in our home. The man on the call was very angry at the salesman because he didn’t like the fact that he had tricked people into getting a service they didn’t want. I applaud to the man on the call for not trying to convince us to get the service. I also hope that the salesmen get fired for what they did
