I'm going to recommend the exploitation shit:
Witchfinder General - I'm actually not sure how true the film is to the life of Matthew Hopkins
Mark of the Devil - which uh, is pretty problematic but it is historically accurate enough. Plus no one plays a creepy dude like Udo Kier
Black Sunday
The Naked Witch
Horror Hotel - it's not historically accurate, but if you want the classic horror imagery of people in cloaks walking through foggy nights and worshiping the devil in dungeons, this movie has it

I haven't seen it myself, but there's a Swedish silent film called Häxan. It's supposed to be part documentary, part dramatization. What footage I have seen looks pretty eerie.

The Fear Street Trilogy on Netflix was pretty solid. You get all the genres but the main plot is witchcraft.

I have to see if it's available on Italian Netflix too!

Oh, yeah IDK but I would think there is a good chance.

Going to add one more of The Juniper Tree (1990) - its an independently funded Icelandic movie based off the Grimm fairytale.
I just thought because I freely admit I have no idea what my prior recommendation is actually like (I've seen it but only as a teenager, I'm a completely different person), I might as well give you one I HAVE seen within the last decade and one that I actually like.

You already wrote three magic things: independent, Iceland and Grimm tales!

What about "starring Björk?" It was her first film.

I know right! I love Lara croft and she portrayed the character very well like the classic games

Hm, there's one called Stay Alive! It's about a cursed video game that murders its players...if you die in the game, you die in real life the same way your character was killed.

Seems nice! I am a RPG player so I could really appreciate it! The last character I played nearly got killed by an alien plant, I hope I will never experience such a thing in real life! XD

When I was a teenager I watched and liked this low budget one called Pagan Queen - basically about the cultural erasure of witchcraft as a religion.
I've heard its not very good but I don't really want to dig through several thousand DVDs to say one way or another.

I just googled the name and found some infos on Wikipedia. It doesn't seem bad! Thanks for your suggestion!

What about The Wicker Man?
by Byron, VP of SpaceHey; 4 days ago; Delete; Report
She said she had seen the more well known ones so I went for one of the more obscure movies I have seen. Both versions of Wicker Man are entertaining movies (first one is "the good one", second is hysterical) but its also immediately what I think of when it comes to well known pagan movies.
Truth be told I haven't seen Pagan Queen in over 10 years so if its bad...I suppose my taste in media wasn't what it is now. Its based on a Czech legend that the movie apparently made "more Hollywood" in an attempt to appeal to more audiences (if it worked, you would've at least heard about the film, I'm guessing).
