i looked at him with disgust, “Sonic, do you really think you can defeat me?” I laughed. “Shadow, you’re no match for me!” He raised his voice. “I’m a Hero, true.” I didn’t reply. “It’s always been about the Heroes,” he continued. “That’s all I’ve ever wanted.” “And I want nothing more than to defeat you,” I replied, still looking straight at him. I couldn’t control myself. I ran up to him and slapped him hard in the face. He fell back, stunned. I stood over him. “I’m really getting sick of these inferior, pathetic creatures,” I said. He looked up at me, his eyes still full of rage. “Get back down there, you pathetic coward, and do what I told you to!” Sonic suddenly stood up and prepared for a fight. I flew up in the air and concentrated my energy. I activated my second Orb. Sonic’s eyes grew wide. “NO!” he yelled. I laughed. “You’re not gonna stop me!” He charged me, his fist closing ever so slightly. I flew up in the air and landed on the ground in front of him. He gave me a small glare while grinning. “Are you gonna fight me or not?” “I was just doing what you told me to,” I replied. He slapped me across the face. I drew in a deep breath. I had done it. My second Orb began to glow. “I don’t think so,” he said. He rushed me. We both tackled each other. His fists hit my chest, but then I struck him in the face. His head struck the ground. I grabbed him by the shoulders and threw him against a nearby tree. The ground cracked beneath him. He stood up and turned to face me. “Please don’t kill me,” he said. I flew up in the air. He glared at me, his eyes blazing with fury. “What do you mean, ‘please don’t kill me?’ I’m not gonna kill you,” I said. He glared at me. I was in control now. He ran up to me. I turned to face him. We stood face to face. “Well, now, what are we gonna do about that?” I challenged. He glared at me. “Let’s do this!” he said. We fought. He was able to knock me off my feet, but I grabbed him by his shoulders and threw him against the tree again. I brought my face down to his, and we began to fight with our fists, our elbows, our knees. He attempted to headbutt me in the face, but I grabbed his head. “No,” I said. He looked up at me with his eyes still blazing. I looked away from him, giving him a slight advantage. I threw him to the ground. I bent down, reached into my pocket, and pulled out my hidden weapon. I began to draw the sword from its sheath. He stood up, and stared at me, then at the sword in my hand. I stared at him. His fury burned stronger than ever. The sword began to glow as I held it in my hand. I spoke a single word. I’m dead. The sword shot from my hand and began to blaze a bright red. I grabbed my shield. “You will regret this.”
