Trent Reznor (of Nine Inch Nails)'s Hotness Ranked by Year

So so so so SO... Trent Reznor is in his 50s, so it's time for a retrospective look on his hotness over time. Let's start by describing each era (there'll be a ranking at the end).

1. Pre-NIN

Now, this photo itself is from 1986, but one can see that even before his place in the spotlight, he still knew how to present himself in a cool way with his leather jacket. Now, being that he would only be around 21 years old, Reznor still has a sort of boy-ish naivity to his presentation, which would be reflected on some tracks on Pretty Hate Machine (namely "That's What I Get").

2. Pretty Hate Machine - Broken - Downward Spiral (1989-1996)

Here, we can see that Trent learned to grow out his hair. The way it flows is just so mmmMMMM. Pretty Man Machine is what he is! Not much more to say than that.

3. Perfect Drug (1997)

The combined straightness of his long hair and the particular amount of facial hair Reznor has here puts him out of handsome and into creepy... but maybe that was his goal! By 1997, other industrial musicians like Marilyn Manson (ew) had made their way onto the scene, and as a result, Reznor had to step up his creepy levels to compete.

However, as can be seen in the Afraid of Americans music video (with David Bowie – nice!), Reznor could get by without the mustache and come off a LOT more appealing. But hey, the choice was his, so I respect it either way.

4. We're skipping forward a bit, since 1999 was a bit boring to me, so now we're at With Teeth (2005)

EMO BOY HAIR!!! Which is surprising, because this man is literally 40 in this. But hey, it was popular at the time, and the album is FANTASTIC so I am not complaining.

5. Modern Trent Reznor

This image in particular is from 2015, but from 2010-onwards, he has looked relatively the same: buff, with more mature facial features, short-cut hair and sometimes more "normal" facial hair. Now, being that I'm a youngster myself, older men aren't quite my thing. Yet.
