I am ignoring drama on SpaceHey and so should you

When I joined SpaceHey I came here to relive some memories and talk about stuff I think is cool with a circle of awesome internet friends, and that is what I'm going to do. When I went to the blogs page and saw all the hate and drama I was sad, but not surprised. And that's why I made the decision to just ignore it. Idfc if "Zion did this" or "Morrow did that" all I care about are my funky fixations and reading Scourge's next 404 comic. Yall can spew your bitter takes and fight in blog comments all you want, but I'm having the time of my life on here and you can too >:3

I always forget that there's a blog section on SpaceHey (silly me) so I just found out about all of that drama. I wish people would just live and let live. Those who wish to have tunnel vision on the internet can block as they choose and go about their business as they see fit. I don't see why it needs to be "I dislike this person and so should you, and if you don't you're wrong and also a bad person." It's polarizing and it doesn't need to be. As much as I love reading all 568 comments on a controversial thread at 2am, it is not to my health and is better left untouched. As our world becomes more volatile, it is a breath of fresh air to claim the right and responsibility to our own internal peace. I choose healthy discourse and debate over name-calling, strawmen, and baseless declarations. Tyrants and useful idiots have been placed into positions of power because of the latter.
