a 7 month life update

so it's been a while since my last blog post. honestly i don't think i've done much, i started a new semester and finished it, sort of graduated from my foundations and am now currently ... doing nothing. went on some holidays and sightseeing but that's it.

idk if i could say that it sucks having finished pre-uni bcs on one hand i have 3++ months to wait before i get accepted to start my degree. most of my friends are taking their diploma, meaning that they're still having classes. life's moving fast as hell and i don't feel like i've done much to compensate for it, yknow ?

another thing is that my whole year in foundations was done online so like, not everyone in class knew each other that much. some of us were close but it feels much like an online friendship. though i will say, i did manage to go to campus for abt 3 weeks ( before they told us to go back bcs of covid and the uni had to shut down, pfft ) and was able to meet some of my friends. got to make some new roommates too, which, was a rlly funny experience. i took a tesol course and was the only one among the 6 of us roommates who took it. the rest of them were all taking science and you could just see the chaos that happened especially when they studied together. they're so cool i tell you, but i will admit it was awkward at first having to do drama classes and such while they had to do maths and chemistry equations beside me hahah

currently i'm not sure how i'll spend the next 3 months waiting. i have signed up for a few volunteering jobs and recently sent in a form to become a part-time editor, so we'll see how it goes. in the meantime, it's pretty much just sleep or housechores.
