So, as of late, I've been working on a game. That game is titled, "Moonlight Infection" ! It's about a post-apocalypse where the moonlight started to burn and infect everyone. Meanwhile, a new plant cropped up called the "sunshroom", which your main character utilizes.
Netul, who you play as, is already infected. It's just a matter of making sure he stays himself. The story takes place weeks after the moonlight thing started. Most people are dead, but Netul wishes to find survivors, and maybe even a cure for him.
The game mechanics come from managing your infection with sunpotions (derived from sunshrooms), staying out of the moonlight as much as you can (although you do need to run through it sometimes), and avoiding the former people, dubbed the Moonlit. The Moonlit aren't exactly zombies... They're more sentient, but their minds are scrambled by the moonlight. They also don't have a head anymore, and only have thrashing tentacles in the place of it, so there's that :L
If they spot you, they'll run over to you and put you into a stranglehold, pulling you into the moonlight until you're one of them.
So, where am I in this game at the moment ? Well, yesterday, I just finished a walk cycle and the code that comes with it. I was working on a LOT yesterday, not just of Moonlight Infection, so makes sense I didn't get much done on it. Here's an image of the actual game ! Or, what I have of it so far.
So yeah, I'll be doing more work on that today. Oh right, you may also notice something...
It's in 3D ! Well, 2.5D. So that's neat.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that the game has NO conventional health system, only an infection meter that's constantly going up. It goes up much faster in the actual moonlight, which I had to make clear what is and isn't moonlight !
