music progress!

hi its kit!! I've been writing lyrics and making instrumentals for a few months now, and im finally getting a laptop so i can record my music fr!! ive been using a pc and composing instrumental sheet music on musescore, cause its free. (^.^) what do yall use or recommend for someone who's new to music production? i wanna do pop punk, screamo (when i learn to scream), and electronic music btw (　＾∇＾)
