SSSS.Gridman the power rangers rip-off that turned into a great anime.

So basically this is based on an old  90s Japanese Tokusatsu show (Japanese live action kids shows)  called Gridman The Hyper Agent. It only lasted on one season but was adapted in the same way Power Rangers was with English speaking actors put in the place for the unmasked scenes. Overall a pretty cheesy show in my opinion was as enjoyable as the original Power Rangers. 

The show ended up with a cult following and now Tsuburaya (The producers of the show who also make the Ultraman series)  have decided to make an anime reimagining of the series SSSS.Gridman and from watching the first 4 episode seems to combine the best of the Japanese and English versions of the original show.

The anime is far more mature in terms of language with the occasional swear word and does not treat the audience like they are stupid. I would encourage people to watch it if you enjoy anime even those who didn't like the original tokusatsu show from the 90s. 

The music is pretty good too.

I found it for free on the funimation app but I think it also on toonami block on cartoon network in the US.

The anime show also got a continuation called ssss.dynazenon so looking forward to seeing that too.
