darling venom

darling venom was heartbreak in a book. it was in the blurb that kellan was going to die. i knew it, i saw it coming. so why did it hurt so much when i acc read it? the poor boy didn't deserve that. he only just turned eighteen, he deserved to live so much longer, deserved so much more than what he was given. a shitty drunken dad, a dead mother and an older brother who didn't understand him. i loved charlie i'm glad that kellan had her leading up to his death. but i needed him to stay alive. idc about charlie and tate. i want him alive again so he can see charlie was able to publish his book, that his dad finally came forward and told the world that he plagiarised his own son's book. kellan deserves the world. and if i could protect any book character it would be him. tate pissed me off in the book. i get it, he felt guilty and sad that he couldn't do much about his dead brother. but he really could've done so much more. all he needed to do was communicate. with kellan and with charlie. that was his downfall throughout the whole book. can't lie there were some x rated scenes in that book but i literally couldn't care bcs i spent the whole time crying about a fictional teenager killing himself. will never stop raving about this book. 10/10
