I'm now an official Weather Spotter for the National Weather Service!

 It is now official!  I am a trained certified weather spotter for the US National Weather Service,  Jackson Kentucky office .

Don't get it confused with being a storm chaser -they are two separate things. I have no desire to get out and chase storms. LOL.  A spotter just reports hazardous weather conditions to the NWS.

While some may think this is a new interest for me, it's really not.  I've always been fascinated with storms and tornadoes. Grant it, I don't want to ever be in a tornado, but they do fascinate me.  So I've decided to go a step farther with that fascination, and hopefully help keep people safe during hazardous weather.
