SADX Chao Garden Adventures 1

Lately I've been playing SADX on steam, Modded of course. Keep in mind that I enjoy both styles of the game. I enjoy SA1's lighting and it's models and stages as much as I love SADX's lighting, models, and stages. The reason I do this is that I play this games for hours a day. Switching visual styles freshens things up a lot. Since I brought this up, every screenshot will be alternating between SA1's visual style and SADX's visual style. 

These blogs will cover everything I do in the Chao Garden, and everything I do related to the Chao Garden. This blog is mostly going to be an Introduction to all my Chao. Check out all my Chao! I'll also be using external tools such as Krzy2's Chao Editor, Chao Exporter/Importer, and Chao Calculator. 

Oh and by the way, these screenshots are going to be very downscaled. I'm playing on a 2560x1440 monitor and that image size doesn't work for this blog format.

JoJo★

JoJo★ is the very first chao I hatched. He's Neutral/Swim, loves Triangle Fruits, and hates Square Fruits. I've played through Emerald Coast so many times just to collect bunnies and seals for this little guy! It's pretty average in it's stats. Only a B in power. I know I said I'm using external tools but I didn't find them until WAY after I started training it. 

プヨプヨ is the second Chao I hatched, named after the Puyo Puyo franchise. I know that Puyo Puyo in Katakana isn't the right spelling but SADX's Chao Garden doesn't have Hiragana. Here's proof if you don't believe me. He's Neutral/Fly, loves Square Fruit, but hates Triangle Fruit. He's got a B in swim and an A in stamina, but the rest are Cs and Ds. I'm going to straight up admit that I haven't put in as much time into the other Chao. At first I thought I would have to raise a lot of Chao to collect all the emblems, but JoJo★ aced all of the beginner races despite it having low Power, Fly, and Motivation. Until he can no longer ace every race, I'll look into raising the other Chao. Oh and by the way, I prefer the SADX Chao Garden over SA1's Chao Garden.

Passion is my Hero Chao. She loves Round Fruit but hates Triangle Fruit. She's got an A in Run and Stamina, but an E in Power. I really like the dynamic of having a Hero, Dark, and Neutral Chao in every playthrough of Sonic Adventure 1 and 2. Passion is named after Cure Passion from Fresh Pretty Cure, and She's evolved. I don't think I'll be raising her or her siblings into Chao for racing or fighting. I'll go over the Dark and Neutral Chao later.

Honestly, I only collected the hubworld Chao for the sake of collecting them. I've thought about raising them in in SA2 using Chao Exporter/Importer. I'll go over to SA2 when I collect all the emblems in SADX. It's weird how SADX was released after SA2, and yet Sonic Team didn't think of adding in the Chaos drives. I really like some of the animals but I also like the look of a regular Chao. Chaos drives aren't as effective as Animals stats wise, but they also don't effect the appearance of the Chao. It's also a headache trying to raise stats with animals while also caring about the appearance. This entire time I  haven't said a single thing about him. Man. Anyways, he's named Yamato after Yamato from Naruto. I'm very terrible at naming things, I know. Yamato has an A in Stamina and Power but an E in Fly. He loves Triangle Fruit, but hates Square Fruit.

Eas is the Dark Chao, named after Eas from Fresh Pretty Cure. There is a theme in these trio's names. If any Pretty Cure fans are reading this, you already know what the Neutral Chao's name is. Actually, you probably already knew since I talked about Passion. In my opinion, I love both designs of the Dark and Hero Chao. They're the best in their own ways, and give off a Dark and Hero vibe very well. Eas loves Triangle Fruit, but hates Round Fruit. They have an A in Runn and Stamina, but an E in Power.

TF2 the Gold Chao from the burger shop! I don't even remember why I named it TF2. I haven't even played it at all, and as of writing this, I don't think I can. His stats are nothing special, just Cs and Ds. He loves Triangle Fruit but hates Round Fruit.

Setsuna is the Neutral Chao of the Trio. She's named after Setsuna from Fresh Pretty Cure. So now that we've gone over this Trio, Setsuna, Eas, and Passion are all the same person in the show. I'm not going to talk about Pretty Cure right now, but you should check it out! It's a cool Magical Girl anime by Toei Animation, and it started back in 2004. You can watch the most recent seasons on Crunchyroll right now! Anyways, I feel very clever when I talk about these three Chao. She loves Round Fruit, but hates Triangle Fruit. She's got a B in Fly and Power, and the rest are Cs and Ds. 

So lately I've been watching Breaking Bad, and sometimes I watch it while playing Sonic Adventure. I couldn't think of a name so I chose Skylar from Breaking Bad. There's absolutely no correlation at all. This is the Chao egg from the Egg Carrier. It's got a B in Swim and Stamina, while the rest are Cs and Ds. It loves Round Fruit, but hates Triangle Fruit. 

So these are all of my Chao! Every time I get a new Chao, they'll have an introductory post in the next post I'm making. I won't alternate between Visual Styles for every post either.
