DNI (Do Not Interact) Lists

Do DNIs work? 

I honestly don’t think DNIs work and don’t think they should be respected because everyone can interact with each other on the Internet and there’s nothing you can do about it. You also cannot block people IRL. I would be under many people’s DNIs and believe me, I totally disregard those lists because they can’t stop me at first. However, I understand the spirit of making such a list and there are some people I genuinely find unpleasant to interact with and prefer not to. I wish I didn’t come across them but sadly that’s not how the world works.

1. Cringy fandoms (too long of a list)

2. Pro-Lifers (+ people who cannot separate religion and laws)

3. Under 18

4. Men & Incels (not all men are incels but all incels are men)

5. People who believe Cultural Appropriation is real

The only real consequence is that I will ignore your bad take because I can and so can you.
