Buying J-fashion

As previously mentioned in my blog post “goth thrifting”

I promised to make another post on where to find J-fashion specifically.

Real quick, J-fashion is a broad concept. From gyaru to visual kei, all the way to lolita and decora kei and what not. I will put the most seen style of the site next to the urls, so you can automatically find one that fits you. (Yes visual kei people, this is also for you. Not leaving you on the side like other blogs for once!)

I’ll also put some brands in here, so you can look them up on the other sites i mentioned in the “goth thrifting” blog post, of course.

Also please keep in mind: 99% OF THESE SITES ARE IN THE JAPANESE YEN CURRENCY!

Either way, lets get started!

One of the first sites i came across on my search to get j-fashion while living in europe was ACDC RAG (https://acdcrag.com/en ) this site is mostly visual kei and decora kei. Not to mention, ACDC RAG is an original brand! So i believe you could find this on other 2nd hand sites. 

The designs on the site are often colourful, with original prints. They also often team up with artists and mangaka’s (manga authors) to create collections.

I also found that the customer service is super helpful and reacts really fast! And the prices are more than reasonable. They also, as one of few sites, have the option to translate all prices into your currency! You can select this on the site. (See down below) 

In all seriousness, i recommend this site if you’re interested in buying j-fashion for your very first time!

Then, the second site: CLOSET CHILD online store (https://www.closetchildonlineshop.com/phone/product-list/688/0/&available=1) 

This is a site mostly focused on (gothic) lolita fashion and visual kei

Although, this site can be a little hard to navigate. Its basically a site that contains a collection of brands thats nearly japan exclusive, and puts it all together into a sort of 2nd hand store format. The prices are in yen, so before you buy something watch that.

I believe they do ship worldwide, so if you buy a piece, it’ll work out for you. If you’re unsure you could always contact customer service with questions about your address.

You can filter on tons and tons of brands out of a list, and browse through thousands of items! (See down below)

Then, the third and last site for now. (I have more, feel free to ask for a part two!) DEVIL INSPIRED  (https://www.devilinspired.com/) 

Devil inspired is a ouji lolita, (victorian/goth) lolita, steampunk and vintage site. OUJI lolita means BOYS! so, for the men or androgynous people here that want to enjoy lolita fashion but dont want to be all girly: definitely look into this!

The site is very similar to ACDC rag, with an easy layout. The currency is also in USA dollars, so its easier to figure out than Japanese yen.

Although, the special thing about devil inspired is that they also have japanese inspired steampunk and vintage clothes. Look at the categories! (See down below)

For now, that’s all to my rant.

I hope this helps at least someone out on here, because i havent seen that much people interested in j-fashion yet.
