Comfort characters and an inability to process change.

(Make fun of me for being cringe and I'll come for the lids to all of your condiments, as well as all of your spoons and the batteries in your remotes. Cringe culture is dead, and so if you come for me about this; you're going in the casket with it.)

-And my biggest comfort character since the very first Halloween season his first video came out on got revamped. {Just the first two videos.}

I was feeling really down and overwhelmed, so I went back for a listen only to find out that it's been this way for so long that you cannot find the original ANYWHERE anymore. Not even on their Patreon, I looked.

I am very neurodivergent, and I cannot handle change very well. I can't process it. I've never been able to.

So while I can acknowledge that Emmary's script writing is absolutely fantastic, as per usual; as well as Easton's voice acting being entirely baller, I cannot bring myself to like the revamped version. And my memory is so bad at this point that I can't even remember the majority of the original script. I'll just come across some bits like "oh, that's almost the same." And then Immediately find issues with the bits that I can vividly remember being different.

Because it's just.. DIFFERENT...

Of course, I'm not gonna bash E&E. Their work is fantastic and I've always thought so. I've been a loyal listener since the very beginning at this point. The revamp really is very good (aside from the two editing mistakes, but like that can happen to anyone, And it's not like it takes away from the video, it's still really great.), I've just unfortunately never been able to process change very well; and so it just sucks that I can't get myself to wrap my head around the changes, however small they may be.

I literally feel so fucking horrible for not being able to like the revamped version just because of my issues with change.. blegh.
