Just a day just an ordinary day.
We tell ourselves we’re not afraid to die, but we all know it’s a lie.
At least I see that behind the thin blanket of calm. I have an ocean of fear that I am set adrift on every waking moment of my life.
I don’t know if it’s apathy or obviousness that keeps me together most of the time.
Whatever it is I think the boomers have perfected the art of it and I’m just catching on.
