I'll fill this out more later when I can think through things. But my initial impressions are: This is probably the first Pixar movie that's made specifically for adults? The entire concept seems less like a thing that has a surface layer for kids and a deeper concept for adults—I think this is squarely aimed at grownups. It's a great story, with some excellent gags and throw away jokes, but the signature Pixar heart is there and I'm very happy to have seen it.

It makes me sad how some people (that are die hard fans of Disney/ Pixar movies) are saying it was not good or did not have what other Disney movies have. I think the message/s are amazing and of course I did enjoyed the art and graphics too.
