Today was nice, in a way that was mostly unexpected. Isaac was home sick, and the peak of relaxation was taking a nap with him. These days are a mixed bag of delightful chaos and exhaustion all tampered by the general aura of not knowing what exactly to do besides nothing and just enjoying the nothing while it's all we need to do.
There's a lot going on, the waves of existence are loud and rough and I'm just trying to navigate my little boat through any waters that come my way.
So days like today can stand out as pleasant memories of days when we tried not to think about things and just enjoyed laying on the floor and coloring.
