The CW is a television network who r responsible for Charmed, Black Lighting, and soon will be The Powerpuff Girls. both 2 shows and 1 potential one that makes me wanna cut my box braids at the root. Lets start off with the one which is less rage inducing.
The Powerpuff Girls reboot/live action remake. This one isn't even out yet. So why am i talking abt it u ask? well that's because the script had gotten leaked. And when i tell u it's bad... It's bad...
But first lets talk abt the casting. Dove Cameron is playing as Bubbles, Yana Perrault as Buttercup, and TBA as Blossom.
Yana Perrault is a blk women playing buttercup. Let that sink n' 4 a sec.
Professor is also blk. And that wouldn't fr be a problem if it wasn't how they wrote him.
CW has a history of making shows edgy when they don't rlly need to be. I'm not an adult but pretty sure they don't wanna always watch shows that r edgy all of time. Especially their own childhood shows. Bubble literally has a sex tape, Buttercup is an lesbian who cheats, and Blossom doesn't want to even be there. And also Bubble killed Mojo jo jo???? OHH and not only that, Professor exploited the girls 4 money when they were young. Wow... if that not edgy then I don't know what is LMAOO. Next is Black Lighting because this is getting to long lowkey.
