Struggles of a Writer

Just when I thought I was going to be done with my first ever book edit/revise in a few weeks, I completely tore apart my poor little draft today :(((

Maybe this is a blessing in disguise. Just struggled to write when there was so much clutter of words that didn't fit & that I didn't want/need anymore. Just need to spice it up now.

Advice?
