Cast list problems

So I got into the school play which is awesome right? Yes and no, they put my deadname on the castlist and now no one will use the correct name I give them cause they think it's a"dumb nickname", the teachers did this to two other people and its already causing problems within the cast and its only day one. Transphobic teachers am I right?
