Sketchbook issues

Okay have any of yall had to deal with the misfortune of owning an Artist's Loft sketchbook? Because I have. 3 times. Now I may totally be at fault for this, but mine break so easily??? I keep them in my bedframe where I step up to get onto it (my bed is like 3ft in the air) and I've only ever stepped on it once. After that, I moved it so that I wouldn't step on it again. Months of use go by and now the spine is disconnected, front AND back cover has fallen of at least 4 times each, and every square inch of it is being helf up by duct tape. It's basically already in the grave, but I haven't even gotten through half of it!! Like I'm so grateful that I even have paper to draw on, but I'm just so sad that my current sketchbook is on lifesupport {I've pulled the plug a few times lmao.} But please tell me I'm not the only one. Thank you

I’ve noticed the artistloft sketchbooks fall apart super easy, but keeping decorative tape (washi, masking, or duct) helps. When I use one, I tape the pages in when they start to fall out and it adds some extra color to the page.

ive held sketchbooks together by just taking all the pages out and binding them
