When I learned how to do this, I read about 5 complicated tutorials. It took me about an hour to figure out how to do it. I ended up with my own way to do it, and it only takes a few seconds. It may seem complicated, but it's really easy once you understand.
1. Find the box you want to add your picture in, press 'edit', and paste this into it.

2. Find the image you want to use. You cannot use a photo from your camera roll, at least this way. Find a photo on Google, Safari, or whatever search thing you use. In my case, I'm using Google. Once you've found your image, right-click. You should get a few options. Click the option, 'copy image address'.
3. After you've copied the image address, go back to the code I said to paste into the box. Do you see the "" in it? In between them, paste the image address. After that, save it, and go to your profile.
The image should then be in your profile. If the image is too big or too small, adjust it by adding numbers instead of the #. If you go back to the code, you'll see it says, height=# width=#. Add the height and width size you want. You may be thinking, 'how do I know what number to put?' When I need to adjust the size, I take a guess which number too put. If it's too small, I go back and put a bigger number. You may have to adjust it a few times.
