Falloutboyrock.com: Era - 2002- 2013 ish (changed to falloutboy.com/got rid of forums in 2013) Importance - interesting context for “boardie” culture of the early 2000s and stuff. Important info: falloutboyrock.com is a good indicator as to what the fan culture was around bands similar to panic, and is kind of interesting. The term “boardie” was coined by the internet around 2004-2006 and was a name for people who spent copious amounts of time on - you guessed it, message boards, hence the name… most of the falloutboyrock.com forums were hidden behind a username and password which is disappointing but nonetheless, through the falloutboyrock.com website I found out that fall out boy also had an official fan club going by the name “the overcast kids”, in the fan club package (which cost roughly 29 dollars in 2003 (aka 41 usd today)) a club member would receive, a t-shirt, a poster, a temporary tattoo and a couple of other items, the design for the overcast kid’s logo (an umbrella) roughly resembles the now iconic umbrella academy logo but I’m sure that they had no correlation. Links: www.falloutboyrock.com www.overcastkids.com (search both w/ wayback machine for relevant pages - 2002-2007 contain the most interesting stuff) https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=fobr%20boardies Clandestine industries: putting this here because the company is just short of its own category but clandestine industries was a company that ran from 2003 to 2012 and during that time released mostly clothing and accessories made by Pete Wentz, many designs fall into the “so bad it’s good” category that I'm currently obsessed with which is great. Some designs to note, now featured on poshmark.com at some insane prices (probably will be linked) are the “Break dance not hearts'' shirts, the “Please Call Gabe Saporta'' shirt, the “Natural Born Killers” shirt featuring Mickey Mouse which i'm sure caused no problems at all… and the Clandestine Industries booty shorts… I’m not kidding! This brand was such a find!!! Looked through the wiki.. You can honestly find more about the brand from the previously linked websites and websites down below but a couple of Clandestine’s partnerships were interesting like DKNY and Nordstrom like it seems totes random anyway didn't mention this before but a huge part of Clandestine’s launch was Pete Wentz’ book “The Boy With a Thorn in His Side”, I didn't mention it before because well if I’m being completely honest it looks like the beta version of Figaro Fo and a huge snooze, there’s an interview blogspot linked just for the sake of being thorough but its not that interesting and Wentz fails to say anything of real importance.
