I like hearing just his vocals isolated like this, the instrumentals in the original are great but being able to focus on just his voice. Gives me a different kind of appreciation for it.

exactly!! listening to it isolated like this helps me notice all the details and layers to his vocals that are at times tortured but also ethereal in this song.
