i enjoy cardcaptor sakura a lot, but i realized that a lot of people hate it;; which is understandable considering the weird relationships in it. one of those is the relationship with sakura's parents; fujitaka and nadeshiko. nadeshiko was 16 when she met fujitaka, who at the time was her freshly graduated high school teacher. like. what? besides that though, there are still a lot of parts of cardcaptor sakura that makes it lovable for me. i do understand why there are people are uncomfortable with it, but it is a product of its time (2000s), and it was common for shoujo to have that age gap thing (ex. usagi tsukino and mamoru chiba, mamoru was 17 and usagi was 14)
cardcaptor sakura is weird, but i still love it

i think i have the first two manga in the clear card arc but i didnt realise it wasnt like the start of the series xD so i hardly understand a thing but its quite cute !
AJSJAIJDA i get that!! a few of my friends also accidentally started with clear card and didn't get a thing lol, it's a good series though! i recommend it 100%

the actual start is out of print!!! you can buy it online second hand, but it's gonna be a bit more expensive. i own a few volumes of the original in the japanese raws :]

aaa good luck !! i don't even own vol. 1 zzz it's a pain to find older manga but im sure ull manage!! the omnibus set is an option but it's super expensive (like, super)
