Dominion 2018

"Most people consider themselves animal lovers."

So I am going through my watch list and see Dominion (which has been sitting there for a while). I decided I wasn't going to watch it cause, like many others, I find animal gore rly upsetting :/

Just as I am about to take it off I realized something. If I know I am going to be disgusted at how the food I'm eating is made, then why am I eating it in the first place?

The documentary is not only revolting, but it is eye opening and extremely informative and I learned a lot while watching it. Ever since, I've been a vegetarian. I came to the conclusion that eating meat went against everything I believe morally. I believe that's exactly what the film intended to do. To give people a harsh reality check and make you really think about your previous beliefs and convictions.

As stated in the opening of the film, the notion that the consumption of animals is free of cruelty and mutually beneficial is a notion to be questioned.
