I open my heart to you and lay it on the line,
hoping yours will melt and be all mine.
What do I do to induce the 'big thaw'
trying to appease you, wanting you more...
The stony silence, wondering what you're thinking,
ego diminished, slowly sinking...
There's a cold front; a big Freeze
How do I defrost it? you want me on my knees?
The ups and downs of a Volatile love,
a roller-coaster of excitement, making up so good...
But your adamant; your stubbornness is driving me
in sane - is there really iced water
running through those veins?
Suddenly I feel the warmth of your 'slow melt'
I have a weakness for your sweetness,
Chills still felt...

They say in poetry the soul speaks. Here is a true example of that flow of words

Oh thank you very much for taking the time to read, and nice comment. It's quite an old poem and the rhyming seemed to come to me much easier than it does now; although I do still enjoy writing on a whim, when the inspiration takes me :)
