summer

My freshman and sophomore year I never got to go out cause of COVID (not blaming anyone for that, it was for the greater good but still sucked lmao) and now it's my last summer of hs and I've never really done anything crazy. Never got to have a sleepover at someone else's house, never got to go to a pool party (that may change this weekend though :), and I never got to go on late car rides with people. 

I generally don't need anything wild or crazy to keep me entertained or excited. I'm fine seeing my friends for three hours a day then sending them on their way and texting them after. That's all cool. The thing is that I want those fun summer nights. I want to smoke with my friends in a crowded bedroom and laugh about some old drama we never kept up with. I want to play my music way too loud for comfort on a friend's radio. I wanna get pushed into a pool.

I can't even swim.
