When and how did everyone get into kingdom hearts and what game is your favorite I'll go first.
I got into kingdom hearts when I was like 7 or 8 years old and I saw it in a thrift shop. Picked it up and it looked cool. It was kingdom hearts 1 and I was lucky I had a hand me down PlayStation 2. I started playing and I loved the game a lot. I stopped playing KH1 because my mom had to sell my ps2 for rent lol. It wasn't until years later when I went into a GameStop and I found a copy of Kingdom hearts Re:Coded for the DS and I picked it up, went home and popped it in my DS and all of the memories just came rushing to my head. I remembered playing kh1 and after that till this day I'm a kingdom hearts fanboy lmao.

I didn't even exist when it was made lol, I got interested ~November 2023, through a song lyric about Roxas and I was going through a Smash Bros phase at the time and though Sora's render looked weird, searched him up and ended up emulating kh1 about an hour later, sadly it broke so I bought it in December and got stuck on Clayton until like February lmao, was so distracted by a minecraft phase and that's why it took so long. Beat kh1 shortly after that, skipped both RE:COM and Days because of the card system and I really wanted to play kh2 already. I do plan on playing Days. I did obviously watch recaps on both games stories before kh2 tho. Kh2 is my favourite game in the series so far of what I've played. I havnt played Days, RE:COM, RE:coded, kh3 (hopefully getting it tomorrow tho) and i tried getting into DDD but flowmotion is just too op and not being able to use rt and lt to go through the command menu is annoying for someone with OCD. I have also played 0.2 and bbs but dont have much to say on both, bbs is just too short yet long at the same time its annoying.

OMG another kingdom hearts fan exists here???? this makes me so happy to hear. i know this blog is old but i figured i could leave a comment since none have been left on here sadly
i wish i got to grow up with kingdom hearts but i was much too young when it was super popular and wasn't ever very interested in disney growing up. if i was consuming any disney media it was through watching movies on vhs tapes
i think my first exposure to kingdom hearts must have been whenever i watched mickey's house of villains on vhs since there was a commercial for the first kingdom hearts game on it. i always grew up hearing stuff about the game but i never bothered getting into it because i thought i was too cool for disney
fast forward to a more recent time and i was interested in another disney anime game called twisted wonderland. one of my friends decided to reccommend kingdom hearts since it was another disney anime game and later decided to lend me his copy of the story so far bundle. i put it off for a while but i eventually started playing and i'm now obsessed.
it's now super close to a year since i found my obession for this game and i have no regrets at all. kingdom hearts is my comfort and i wish that i got into it sooner because i bet it would have been such a special part of my childhood. when you're young you spend so much time wishing you could be older, but when you actually are older, you just wish you could go back to simpler times and have no worries in the world. kingdom hearts is my safe space and i wish i got to grow up with it. it's so cool finding someone else who appreciates the series as much as i do :3
