soul blood

you can lose a lot of blood and be weak. your blood can be tainted. you can lose too much and die.

you can also give some away and have it be totally replenished (same with losing a lot). but you can't donate if you're sick, or already weak. 

i had thought of this when I was thinking about pieces of soul being glued to art. and yeah sometimes the soul blood that was used as paint can be spoiled. but it is the soul, and the soul will heal anyone who welcomes it. 

actually this sounds kinda stupid now lol but i just think it is important to share pieces of yourself when you can, of when you need to get the thick goo out of your veins. 

but give too much away, and you're weak. give it all away and you may as well be dead. give it to the wrong person and watch them use your own blood to kill you. or worse, watch them dump it down the drain. again and again until you have nothing left to give. 

make sure your own cup is filled first.
