Across the room I see your face,

your voice is the one that stands out,

a sound I could listen to for eternity.

We sit apart as always,

I sit near the door while you're near the window,

if only I had the confidence to break my uncertainty.

I could sit near you, learn your name

learn your passions, your thoughts,

everything and anything.
